  • Where can I purchase Melanin Herbs products?

    We have recently ended our long-standing retail partnerships and currently MelaninHerbs® products are available exclusively through our website MelaninHerbs.com

    What forms of payment can I use?

    Melanin Herbs may be purchased using Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Paypal. We do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds. All Sales Are Final.

    Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

    No! All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns or exchanges allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS!

    May I place an order without an account?

    Setting up an account with Melanin Herbs is beneficial as you would receive coupons, invitations to private sales, and valuable health and wellness information. However, it is not necessary for purchase. Please move forward with guest checkout.

    How often do you restock merchandise?

    We restock every two weeks.

    How can I find out about restocks?

    The best way to get the heads up on restocks is to subscribe to our text messages. If you haven’t already subscribed to texts in the footer section at the bottom of the page. We provide money-saving coupons and inform you of restocks, private sales, and new products. You will find out first with MelaninHerbs® text messages.

    Can I cancel my order once I have completed a purchase?

    All sales are final. And orders, in most cases, ship out very fast.

    How many items can I buy in one purchase?

    There are no limitations on purchasing at this time and you should be able to do so through our website. However, if you should encounter an issue while placing a large order, feel free to call us at 1-504-383-0554 and we will be happy to help you🤗

  • When will my package ship?

    Orders typically ship out within 36 hours. However, if you order during a weekend, around a holiday or big sale there could be a delay.

    How long will my package take to arrive once it is shipped?

    USA shipments typically take 3-5 days to arrive once shipped. But due to the pandemic, the delivery companies are giving no guarantee of delivery times. But over 95% of our USA shipments arrive in that time frame. Again it may take longer.
    International shipments vary by destination and shipping method.

    How can I track my order?

    Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You will be able to track your package to its final destination. Be patient, it can take up to 48 hours and rarely longer from the time you place your order till the time you receive the tracking email.

    What are your shipping charges?

    Exact shipping and delivery charges are determined by your location and the package weight. Please utilize the shipping calculator at checkout for your specific shipment cost.

    Who do you use for shipping?

    Most USA packages are shipped through USPS, but we also use UPS and FedEx in some instances.

    Do you ship internationally?

    We ship WORLDWIDE! We are proud to ship throughout the US and worldwide!

    For USA shipments, we use a combination of three providers USPS, FedEx & UPS. You can track your package from the time it leaves our warehouse through to its final destination.
    For all international shipments, we use DHL, the world’s leading logistics provider. We offer both standard and express shipping.

    What are the different international shipping options?

    Once your order has been processed, DHL Express typically delivers your order within 3-6 days to your shipping address. At times, you may be asked to pick up your package at a DHL office or provide delivery instructions via phone or email. To ensure you receive your package without delay, please provide the best contact phone number during checkout.
    Processing can take 2-3 days depending on if you placed your order on a weekend or around a Holiday.
    Standard DHL time of arrival varies depending on your country. Once the package arrives in your country, DHL hands the package off to your local post office or a local courier for delivery to you.

    At times, you may be asked to come into your local post office to claim the package in person.

    Will I be charged duty fees?

    Our company is based in the USA. All of our US orders are free of duty fees. 
    While most of our orders are free of any Import Taxes or Duty Fees, we cannot be held responsible for any taxes, seizures or fees from importing our product. By complying with all local standards and regulations, we do our very best to avoid any possible charges your country may assess your shipment. The final decision is decided by your country's import regulations. You may contact your local customs agent if you have any questions regarding additional fees on your shipment. 

    I did not receive a shipping or order confirmation?

    Please email us at customerservice@MelaninHerbs.com to confirm your order was placed. Our emails could be ending up in your spam box or an incorrect email was entered at the time of checkout.

    How can I change my address after I placed an order?

    You may email customer service at customerservice@MelaninHerbs.com. Address corrections require a $5.00 processing fee. However, if the package has already shipped, we are not responsible.
    NOTE: There is a strong possibility that an order may get shipped in less than 24 hours. And again if the package has shipped we are not responsible.
    NOTE: All emails will receive a response within 48 BUSINESS hours. (email responses may get delayed during high volume times). So it is quite possible that we may not get a chance to read your email until after your package is shipped. In which case again we are not responsible. Long story short, when placing your order, make sure you type the full and exact address that you want your package shipped.

    What happens if my order is returned to sender? 

    If your order is returned to sender, you will be prompted to purchase a reship fee listed on our website. Melanin Herbs is not responsible for any shipment issues caused by USPS or any other delivery carrier we may use. If you choose not to purchase a reshipping fee, you will be issued a store credit in the full amount of your order minus the shipping cost. NO REFUNDS! NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Could you tell us more about your Seamoss?

    Our Seamoss is the highest grade Seamoss you will find, coming from the pristine waters of St. Lucia. Our seamoss is not manufactured or grown in artificially controlled ponds. This is the real Seamoss that Dr Sebi and other healers have spoken about. Buy with confidence from us knowing you are getting the real thing and all the health benefits it brings.

    How many times a day should I drink the tea?

    Each product that we offer has different recommended servings per day. Some teas are typically taken 2-3 times per day while others are suggested to be taken only once per day. Refer to your specific product label and product page here on the site.

    Are your supplements safe for pregnant and nursing women.

    Although we do not include herbs that we are aware of would be unsuitable for pregnant women, we advise you to first check with your physician before taking Melanin Herbs or any other herbal supplement.

    Can children take your herbs and seamoss?

    Yes, children 2 and over can take our seamoss daily, as it is a food. As far as our herbal teas and other supplements are concerned, they are formulated for adults. Please check with the pediatrician before giving your child.

    Are all ingredients listed on the package?

    Mama O’s original and unique formulas are proprietary blends. These proprietary blends are in all of Melanin Herbs products and our products may contain ingredients not listed here. If you have allergies to any herbs or botanicals, at all, we suggest you not use our products to be on the safe side.

    Can I still eat junk food while taking the herbs and seamoss?

    You can certainly do anything you like but it would not be advisable.
    We recommend you eat a healthy plant-based diet while you are taking our products so that you can help your body to heal and see the full effect of what the products can do for you.

    How much Seamoss Gel should I take per day?

    You can enjoy as little as one tablespoon per day to as much as 8 tablespoons worth spread throughout the day for athletes and severe situations. The choice is yours.

    Do the herbal teas taste good?

    These teas are not formulated to taste good, they are created to actually help you. To enhance the taste you may add a little of our Black Seed Honey, agave or stevia or natural sweetener of your choice.
